Milas-Bodrum International Airport 8 km.
Güllük Marina lies about half way along the eastern side of the gulf. All the Authorities, including the Harbour Master are based on the waterfront.
This harbour has space for visiting yachts. If able to do so, arriving to clear in the morning calm will allow you to temporarily berth at the shore end of the cargo pier. Later in the day, with the meltemi blowing, this berth becomes untenable. Shelter can then only be found tucked behind the breakwater of the inner harbour.
The deeply indented gulf of Güllük has a large number of well sheltered anchorages. A number of small hotels and restaurants are being built along the coast and local boats run trips across to the ancient harbour of Kıyıkışlacık.
Güllük, is a small harbor town with own municipality within the district of Milas. Milas (ancient Mylasa) is a city in southwestern Turkey. It is a popular stopover for tourists sailing the Blue Cruise tour and also has an important port for freight ships. Güllük is also an important center of construction for gulet boats, coming second only to Bodrum. The town also has a freight port and acts as outlet especially for exports of several raw materials from mined in Milas district's inner regions.
It is part of Muğla Province and depends on the province seat of Muğla administratively. Milas is situated on a fertile plain at the foot of mountain on which there are great quarries of the white marble which has been used for the construction or decoration of the city's temples and other buildings since antiquity.
In the southeast part of Anatolia, on the way to Bodrum from Milas, Aegean sea will meet you among the green trees with a beautiful view. This is the Güllük Bay. Güllük Bay, called Mandalya once, takes its new Güllük. You can be attracted by the white Mediterranean houses, cobblestone streets, friendly people, fish restaurants, and cafes as soon as you enter the town. Here a lovely acropolis, houses a theatre an agora a harbour temples a mausoleum and a necropolis. The famous Dolphin Boy of lassos was born here.
Güllük is developing rapidly with the increasing number of tourists. New hotels, cafes, restaurants, and roads are being built everyday. The town is expecting more and more guest everyday. Now it attracts ore attention with boat trips, scuba diving facilities, beautiful shore and the festival held on the first Sunday of July, every year.
Güllük is located between the Gulf of Mandalya and Asin Cove and its fishermen and waterfront coffee-houses and restaurants still retain the character of fishing village. Houses on the rising landscape from the seaside all have a view due to the topography of the area.
In Güllük, just like its neighbor Bodrum, there are shipyards that build the unique boats to the region, gulets.
There is good fish to be had in the netted areas to the north and in sea itself. You can fish for bluefish, grey mullet and most of all eels. You can feast on eel dishes in one of the restaurants here. It is very delicious although it is called snake fish in Turkish. In most of the coves in the area there is also fish farming conducted and where you can get sea bass and bream.

We do not have a real marina in Güllük, but Lale Yachting have a yacht jetty, where every sailor will be pleased by the personal care of our employees and can help you with everything a sailor, boat owner or tourist in Turkey needs.
Our jetty and offices are in the bay of Güllük, where it is not so crowded with tourists yet. You can make your first tags without problems, because a lot of sheltered anchorages are nearby.
