THE ANKER MARINA SERVICE FACILITIES
The AMS facility is a fully integrated maintenance and repair service for both sail and powerboats. It consists of a designated team of experts with support workshops for woodwork; engineering, mechanical / electrical; painting and metal work. Each of the individual sections is seamlessly linked to the central control office, which is responsibled for the company’s quality assurance and guarantee.
The company is based in Setur Marmaris Netsel Marina / Marmaris with subsidiary contact offices in D-Marin Turgutreis Marina / Bodrum and Marmaris Yacht-Marina / Marmaris. Work can be undertaken either ashore or afloat in all three locations but the company has operated, on a mobile basis, in most of the major marinas along the Turkish coast.
In agreement with the marinas with in Marmaris bay we can accommodate boats up to 150 feet on hard standing with a haul out capacity of 320 metric tons. This enables us to undertake major refitting and repair projects on vessels of considerable size. In addition to the hands on practical side of our company we can also offer, due to our past experience in senior marina management, a consultant service covering marine surveys and yacht convincing.
WOODWORK
AMS. takes pride in the range and quality of its woodwork. We have on our staff carpenters, joiners and cabinet makers which enable us to confidently undertake virtually any type of new or reconstructive projects. Our carpentry and joinery section incorporates the traditional skills of shipwrights and have particular expertise in designing and laying teak decks using only first quality naturally dried Burma teak and appropriate caulking to suit variations in climatic conditions.
In conjunction with our cabinet makers we have redesigned and built complete saloons, heads and all necessary furniture for a number of notable power boats and yachts. Recent project include, Teak Decks. Construction, replacement, reselling and repair...

MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL SERVICES
Anker Marine offers full service repair and installation on a variety of mechanical systems including engine, generator, refrigeration, air conditioning & heating, sanitization, electrical and electronic equipment. To stay on top of the latest technology and recommended repair techniques our staff regularly attends training seminars. The companies engineering section has authorized concessions for the servicing of almost every marine engines with the support of a fully equipped workshop have had many years experience working on all makes of marine engines.
The electricians at AMS can diagnose and repair faults in either DC or AC circuitry, Full rewiring of boats can also be undertaken if required, Plumbing systems can be designed and fitted, Any holding tanks that are necessary can be manufactured in our metal workshop...

AMS rigging department offers roller swaging as well as traditional talurite swaging, with a service to match any other. Our rigging service is available for jobs of all size, from making up short strops to complete re-rigging and from rope splicing to outfitting pubs! We are able to work with many sizes of wire and would be happy to quote for any requirements.
METAL WORKS
The company can fabricate in its own workshop any type of stainless steel requirement for boats. It has designed and manufactured frames for biminis, passerells and awning as well as more specialized projects designated by client. Our metalwork section gives AMS. the capability to work on steel and aluminum boats and carry out major hull repairs; it can also repair masts and manufacture marina aluminum special fittings.

PAINT & GLASS SERVICES
The dedicated and knowledgeable staff in our paint and fiberglass section is ready to help maintain the integrity and value of your boat. Painting with the right degree of preparation not only improves the aesthetic appeal of a boat but is also vital to the protection of its structure. Technical advances in paint manufacture makes it possible to create a paint programme which delivers the necessary protection and conforms to the designated requirements of the client.
At AMS our painters have been schooled by major paint produces such as International and Awl grip which ensures that they fully understand the properties of modern paints and can therefore advise clients of the appropriate combination to meet stated objectives. Whether the boat is constructed of steel, fiberglass, wood or aluminum each have specific paint problems which must be understood and addressed to ensure a perfect finish. Anker Marina Services offers superior Awl grip and international coating services.
Our staff is expert at color matching and touch ups, as well as complete refinishing including fairing and proper preparation work. With over a decade of service we have completed a myriad of refinishing projects on boat of all sizes and styles. Besides topsides refinishing AMS also completes Awl grip work on mast booms and other miscellaneous parts. Our Painting shop allows boat owners to choose the brand of suppliers for proper finishing and procedure that these products require. We also maintain close working relationship with the technical staff understanding the properties of the products we use to attain the finish we know our clients except.

OSMOSIS TREATMENT
Over the years, Anker Marina Services has garnered a reputation as an expert in the field of Osmosis treatment. Having tested many of the techniques and materials used today, we regularly provide guidance and consultation services to other repair facilities.
Osmotic blisters, when not through the production failure where 90% of the osmosis within the first five years is due to this, result when water, that will naturally permeate through the gel coat and laminate layers, becomes trapped within the layers after combining with other molecules from the laminate material. Once trapped, this newly "enhanced" water molecule will exert pressure on the gel coat trying to permeate back through. This pressure eventually becomes the blister we all associate with this problem.
AMS has tested various methods for removing the damaged gel coat and laminates, and drying hulls. In addition we have tested several finishing methods.
Though there is still much to learn about blistering, and its causes, AMS continues to pioneer new techniques and equipment to achieve the best possible repairs. As long as the cause for the osmosis is not the production mistakes,with our techniques and materials we use ,we guarantee our work for 5 years.
